DFW Fabrication Shop provides automotive welding for performance modifications like superchargers, turbo chargers, intakes, exhaust systems as well as bodywork and larger structural jobs. Automotive repairs that require welding may include a cracked panel, a rust patch, or a puncture in the body of the car. Cracked chassis, a cracked muffler, or a rusted oil pan. DFW Fabrication Shop uses TIG welding techniques that use inert gases like argon as a shield and a tungsten rod that is attached to the end of the welding torch. The rod will create an electric arc that melts the metallic parts together but the tungsten rod itself does not melt. The benefit is you do not need to add any materials during the welding process making it a favorite technique of skilled welders. The tungsten rod is also referred to as non-consumable electrode as it is not melted during the welding process.
Nice, clean welds are achieved with TIG welding as it doesn’t need slag or flux. You can use it to join together two metals that are press fit with no need for joining materials. If we do need to fill in the gaps, filler rods can be used. Due to its super clean welds it is an ideal welding technique for motorcycle repairs and those into custom car builds. We use this welding technique for various non-ferrous metals like copper, aluminum, nickel, magnesium, and titanium. We can do exotic metal repairs on motorcycles.

EXCELLENT Based on 76 reviews Posted on Google David McDavidTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. WHAT IS IT WITH THESE BUSINESS OWNERS? Business must be good, I guess…Although I am not now, (and never will be) a customer of Brian‘s, I felt this review is in order. I called him based upon his proximity as well as his five star reviews. Shortly after I started describing the customized window screen project for my house that I envision, Brian interrupted me to tell me to send him some pictures. I assured him I would after our conversation, but again, as I tried to convey a general idea of what I want Brian told me “I charge $150 an hour for my services plus materials.“ That wasn’t nearly as big a turn off as the fact that before even hearing me finish the description of the potential job, much less coming to my property to give a realistic estimate of what my proposed project might actually cost, Brian told me that his price would be “astronomical.“ From the rest of the reviews, it looks like Brian is only into small welding projects. Nevertheless, he should be straight up about that; I have no interest in doing business with a business owner who is determined to talk a customer out of doing business with them.Posted on Google Alejandro TrevinoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Brian was a life saver ! Only person in the DFW that could weld titanium same day . They Did an outstanding job on a weld for a titanium exhaust for my client with an R32 GTR . Found out about DFW Fabrication in a facebook group a few months ago. I needed a front fender mounted up on my cafe racer and getting the proper positioning adjusted would not have been possible if it weren’t for Brian & Ricky. It was the little details that made it perfect. The positioning of the reservoirs that just clear the fender to the bracket support angle and headlight positioning - the attention to the details made the completion of this project a massive success. All while sending me photos of the progress, made me very satisfied customer. I could not and would not even consider bringing it to any shop but this one . I will be bringing my business again to DFW Fabrication. Excellent work Brian and Ricky!Posted on Google Alex NTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
